A mosque near the Gaza Seaport—known locally as the Seaport Masjid—has reportedly been destroyed during a series of Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. While no official statement has yet been issued by major international news agencies or Gaza’s Ministry of Religious Affairs, images and videos circulating widely on social media appear to show the mosque reduced to rubble, with parts of its minaret and main structure collapsed.

The strike occurred amid a renewed wave of Israeli aerial bombardments targeting various parts of Gaza, including coastal areas, refugee camps, and urban districts. The Israeli military has stated that it is responding to continued rocket launches and militant activity from the Strip.
