Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff will lead their respective delegations. The U.S. is pressing for Iran to dismantle its uranium enrichment facilities, including those at Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan, while Iran maintains that its nuclear program is for civilian purposes .
Ahead of the talks, Araqchi plans to visit Saudi Arabia and Qatar for regional consultations . The outcome of these negotiations could significantly impact regional stability and the future of Iran’s nuclear program.
